1. Retreat Overview
The CCA Community Retreat is a community-focused gathering designed to create space for connection, rest, encouragement, and meaningful relationships among members of the Certified Coaching Academy community.
This is not a formal training event or certification program. While coaching conversations and opportunities for personal growth may naturally occur, the primary purpose of the Retreat is to enjoy time together, deepen relationships, and build community.
The Retreat may include activities such as:
- Shared meals
- Campfires
- Games and recreational activities
- Time on the lake
- Group conversations
- Optional coaching discussions
- Community-led activities and experiences
- Free time for rest, reflection, and connection
2. Payment & Cancellation Policy
Retreat Investment
Total Investment: $300 per person
Your registration covers shared retreat expenses, including:
- Food
- Beverages
- Housekeeping
- Retreat supplies
This Retreat is not a profit-making event. Registration fees simply help cover the shared costs of hosting the weekend.
Refund Policy
Because space is limited and planning expenses are incurred in advance, all registrations are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your registration to another current Certified Coaching Academy participant with written approval from the Organizer.
If Organizer must cancel or reschedule the Retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, Participants will be offered a transfer or credit option.
Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own transportation to and from the Retreat.
3. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
Participant understands that participation in the Retreat involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Travel
- Recreational lake activities
- Swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, boating, and other water-based activities
- Outdoor activities
- Physical movement
- Food-related risks
- Interaction with other participants
- Risks associated with staying at a private residence
Participation in any water-based or recreational activities is entirely voluntary and undertaken at Participant's own risk. Organizer does not provide supervision, instruction, or lifeguard services for these activities, and Participant assumes full responsibility for their own safety while participating.
Participant voluntarily assumes full responsibility for any injuries, losses, damages, or risks associated with participation in the Retreat.
Participant releases and holds harmless:
- Limitless Journey Life Coaching, LLC
- Talie Davis
- Jennifer Stanley (Host Property Owner)
- Retreat volunteers
- Retreat organizers
- Any affiliated contractors or service providers
from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, demands, actions, or causes of action arising from or related to participation in the Retreat, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
4. Medical & Dietary Responsibility
Participant acknowledges that:
- They are responsible for their own physical, emotional, and medical well-being.
- They will disclose any food allergies or dietary restrictions prior to the Retreat.
- Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate dietary needs; however, an allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed.
- They are responsible for bringing any necessary medications and seeking medical care if needed.
5. Personal Responsibility
The Retreat is intended to foster connection, encouragement, and community.
While meaningful conversations and informal coaching may naturally occur throughout the weekend, the Retreat is not therapy, counseling, medical treatment, or a substitute for professional healthcare services.
Participant accepts full responsibility for their own physical, emotional, and mental well-being throughout the Retreat.
6. Code of Conduct
To help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for everyone, Participant agrees to:
- Treat fellow participants with kindness, respect, and consideration.
- Maintain the confidentiality of personal stories shared during the Retreat.
- Respect the retreat property, neighboring properties, and surrounding community.
- Follow reasonable safety guidelines during recreational activities.
- Contribute to a positive, encouraging, and inclusive environment.
Participant agrees to exercise reasonable care while using the retreat property and is financially responsible for any damage to the property or its contents caused by Participant's negligent or intentional actions.
Organizer reserves the right to remove any Participant whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, disrespectful, or inconsistent with the spirit of the Retreat. Removal does not entitle Participant to a refund.
7. Confidentiality
One of the values of our community is creating a safe space for authentic connection.
Participants agree to honor the privacy of others by keeping personal stories, coaching conversations, and sensitive information shared during the Retreat confidential.
Organizer agrees that personal stories shared during the Retreat will not be publicly disclosed without the Participant's permission.
8. Photo & Video Release
Photographs and video may be taken throughout the Retreat.
By attending, Participant grants permission for photographs, group photos, and event footage to be used by Limitless Journey Life Coaching, LLC for purposes including:
- Website content
- Social media
- Marketing materials
- Email communications
- Future retreat promotions
No personal coaching conversations or sensitive personal disclosures will be shared publicly without additional permission.
Participant understands that:
- No compensation will be provided for the use of photographs or video.
- All media becomes the property of Limitless Journey Life Coaching, LLC.
- Participant may request to be excluded from specific photographs by notifying Organizer before or during the Retreat. While every reasonable effort will be made to honor such requests, exclusion from all group photographs or incidental appearances cannot be guaranteed.
9. Intellectual Property
Any coaching tools, exercises, frameworks, handouts, or written materials voluntarily shared by Organizer during the Retreat remain the intellectual property of Limitless Journey Life Coaching, LLC and may not be reproduced, distributed, or taught without prior written permission.
10. Force Majeure
Organizer shall not be responsible for delays, changes, interruption, or cancellation of the Retreat due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, illness, public health emergencies, power outages, or other events affecting the retreat location.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
12. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Participant and Organizer regarding the Retreat and supersedes all prior discussions, communications, representations, or agreements, whether written or oral.
If any provision of this Agreement is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Acceptance
By registering for the CCA Community Retreat and clicking "I Agree," Participant:
- Confirms understanding of the non-refundable registration policy.
- Voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation in the Retreat.
- Releases the parties identified in this Agreement from liability as described herein.
- Agrees to uphold the Code of Conduct and maintain the confidentiality of fellow participants.
- Grants permission for the use of photographs and video as outlined above.
- Acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms, Conditions, and Liability Release.
